two thoughts

One: Potential can be scary. If you believe in it and wanna pursue it and make it happen, you have to actually try, which means you can fail, and it can mean more work, more risk, higher standards, more responsibilities. It isn’t just done with one leap of faith… it’s permanently upping the ante, and many small leaps of faith again and again.

Two: Whenever plans don’t go as smoothly, it always feels to me as if I wasn’t meant to do them, or at least not like this, or during that time. Like for example, plans to visit a location, and first you find out they aren‘t open at the time you initially wanted, then when you go there the way there is long and tedious with traffic jams, the other minor annoyances there before heading back, like food being a little meh, only getting 3 of the 6 things you wanted or whatever. Nothing outright bad, nothing that would make you overtly not enjoy or regret it; just things here and there that cause a bit of discomfort and friction, which make the entire thing feel forced, or as if the universe is sending subtle signs that you did this at the wrong time/place. That you or the place wasn’t ready. Idk
