You aren’t supposed to scan for keywords and skip paragraphs, you’re supposed to read it. You aren’t supposed to be the quickest to gain a basic general overview over the text to be the fastest to post some updoot-worthy quip in the replies, you’re supposed to engage with it on a deeper level. You’re supposed to gain context and insight and pay attention to the choice of words.
