people don't listen or read
I'm annoyed that people cannot read or listen. They read a headline, the first sentence, the title, and scan for some keywords, and then vomit their advice or opinion at you. They don't care that you already covered that in what you said. They aren't embarrassed. They don't reread or ask questions to clarify anything before they let you know. They don't care.
Conversing (written or verbal), to them, is about getting words out. These words don't have to be accurate or helpful or follow any kind of etiquette or have anything to do with what you said either. It's just vomit. It's being the fastest to respond. It's all about not having to keep any thoughts to themselves.
You can say you hate your current TV setup, but that the apartment doesn't allow for rearranging and you don't wanna buy a new one. People will really put effort into letting you know that you should think about rearranging the TV setup or buy a new TV stand.
You have a problem, and said you have tried x, y, and z solution, and you don't wanna try abc. They'll send a message your way asking if you have already tried y, and that you should also consider abc.
I cannot hide my disdain for this type of bullshit anymore. I wish I could put you dumb fucks on blast. In the group chat, on the platform, in real life. Unfortunately, you just look like a stuck up bitch if you look at them in anger and ask them whether they haven't listened to you, because you just said that. They'll never acknowledge it. "No you didn't" is the most likely answer, followed with "Umm sorry I just tried to help". Very rarely will anyone actually say "I must have missed that, I'm sorry".
All I have left is to ignore these stupid ass attempts at bothering me with every fart your brain produces while it attempts to read anything I write. Really, reading responses to stuff I say often reads as if people are fucking compelled to write anything like they're cursed by some spell. Like someone is holding a gun to their head asking them to make up some bullshit response no one needed. Some stuff is so stupid, I doubt even they got something out of it, or needed to get this off their chest. I would be ashamed, man.
You are wasting both our time, you are wasting my attention and energy. You are eliminating my goodwill. You are eradicating my patience and understanding. You belittle me, in fact, you infantilize me by explaining my own solution attempts back at me as if I am dumb. You make me feel unheard. It's disrespectful. Fucking sit down and shut the fuck up.
