consumerist fucks
I’m tired of these consumerist fucks.
All you want passive income for is “number in bank account go up”, a vague sense of security and success. You don’t want it to work less and have more time to create, to volunteer, to help out in your community; no, your dream life is to sit around and do nothing on a beach except posting about it. It’s not the flex you think it is! If you think about it for two seconds, you’d realize it gets boring quick and you should strive for more, do better, stimulate your mind and body with something and give back to your environment. You want passive income to brag, not because you’re sick and disabled and need the money to survive because you can’t earn as much actively.
Millions in real estate aren’t a flex either. You’re hoarding housing you don’t need, other people’s suffering, poverty, location, home is your “passive income”. You abuse people’s desperation. You pay off houses with money of people that get denied to buy a house. You should be ashamed. You’re hoping to build an empire and comfortable life for yourself on exploitation and discrimination, all while giving love and light and manifestation on social media.
You want exclusive luxury cars and private jets? Their worth depends on disgusting things: brand worship, disregard for the environment, classism, and flexing. The truth is, every other car can get you to your destination just the same, and the private jet is only interesting to people who want to separate themselves from “the poors”. When most of you fuckers were or still are poor! Embarrassing. No class solidarity, no class consciousness in you. If you really wanted culture, beaches, whatever is the reason behind travels, you can do that close by, or in a normal flight, or trains. But no, you don’t care about the actual trip - just that you can say you were at some trendy, expensive location and could go there at a whim. It’s all about external validation. You do care about what others think; if it’s not about you, then it’s the opinion of others that hype a place up which you then decide to visit to treat yourself because going somewhere others regard highly is your reward. In the end, it’s a place like any other, but higher prices and more tourists, and it’s made to con people like you.
Diamond jewelry desire is so… plain. Boring. Characterless. Falling for ages old propaganda and making certain movies and TV series your personality. Like I’m sorry, but doesn’t it get bland? Beaches, mansions, diamonds, wine, jets and cars have been idolized for decades now with nothing to show for it; no improvements, no lasting happiness, but a waste of money and full of ethical concerns and body harms.
It’s never “I want passive income to be able to work less and spend more time with my spouse and help take care of elderly family members.” or “I want to get rich to invest into sustainable, eco-friendly, vegan startups, startups that investigate microplastics and garbage reduction, that clear the seas, places that rehab wild animals, that support hospitals and schools in poor areas.” or “I manifest extreme improvements in public transport, bike safety, and walkable cities.” You all want empty villas for yourselves instead of affordable housing for everyone and a big home filled with loved ones. You want a fit body and clear skin to look beautiful, but you don’t ask for health no matter what it looks like.
Self obsessed, narcissistic tunnel vision. You are not building a legacy, you are building a brand. You are building yourself a monument that only you care about.
For people with allegedly such an abundance mindset, you all can’t help obsessively thinking about money and only ever picking the most stereotypical and boring things to do with it that reek of not knowing the world or yourselves outside of media. It gives off desperate and scarcity instead, while also delusional and having the priorities of someone very very young and naive. Maybe you should manifest a personality and some morals instead.
